 | | PROCEDURES . . . . . . . . .
Dr. Grill and Associates, along with a highly trained staff, provide a wide range of services all geared to comprehensive patient care. In our state-of-the-art, modern facility we provide treatment for gum, tooth, and TMJ/TMD (temporomandibular joint/temporomandibular disorder) needs. We use lasers to assist in many procedures, including fillings and minor surgeries. Routine fillings can often be done with little or no numbing.
LASER DENTISTRY
Lasers have been used in the medical profession for many years. Their use in dentistry has been perfected now and we have chosen two types of dental lasers to use in our practice. The KAVO DIAGNOdent enables decay to be detected at the earliest possible stages. The laser light of DIAGNOdent helps diagnose tooth decay and can give an indication of how much decay is present. Therefore, even the smallest cavities are detected at their earliest stages. This enables us to protect and preserve tooth structure; fillings become smaller.
Our other laser is Continuum Biomedical's DELight Dental Laser. This cutting-edge laser technology can be used for fillings as well as soft tissue surgeries. A precise beam of pulsed laser light and water allows the dentist to gently and selectively remove tooth decay while minimizing the removal of good tooth structure. Many dental procedures can be safely performed without numbing.
COSMETIC DENTISTRY
The office provides a wide array of cosmetic procedures. Beautiful smiles are not just for Hollywood anymore. Through modern techniques of bonding, porcelain veneers and crowns, and tooth whitening procedures a patient's smile and appearance can be transformed. Even for routine dental fillings, Dr. Grill has been using tooth colored bonding material exclusively since 1996. Tooth whitening with the Zoom System and at home whitening systems are also offered.
TMD and TMJ
For those patients suffering from TMD (temporomandibular disorder) or disorders of the TMJ (temporomandibular joint), treatment is offered following thorough examination, diagnostic testing, and diagnosis.
GENERAL DENTISTRY
Our office also provides form more "routine" dental care including but not limited to crowns, bridges, extractions and minor dental surgical procedures and dentures.
