Our office recommends the Zoom in office whitening system.  Zoom is a light activated whitening gel.  An at home whitening system can also be provided which involves the wearing of a custom fabricated mouth tray for as little as 30 minutes a day.    What is an implant?  Dental implants serve as substitutes for natural tooth roots that rely on your jawbone for support. They are made of a special metal that is compatible with the jawbone. They may be used to support dentures or to replace individual teeth and bridges.      What do you do with the dental laser?  The DELight dental laser is primarily a laser used for cavity preparation. Highly controlled pulses of light cause a micro vaporization of water in the decayed tooth, resulting in rapid and precise removal while preserving healthy tooth structure. It can be used to replace the traditional dental drill. And the best part is that 96% of patients do not require numbing for the procedure.      Does the laser cost more than the drill?  No. We use the laser because it is a very precise instrument which allows us to selectively remove decayed tooth structure and save healthy tooth structure. So it's better for you.      Can I have white fillings instead of dark ones?  Yes. Many patients prefer this because it creates a more pleasing and natural looking smile. White fillings, also called composite fillings, are made from tooth-colored materials that restore the natural appearance of a decayed or previously filled tooth. An advantage of composite fillings is that they require less of the healthy part of the tooth to be removed to hold the filling in place.
